Lighting London

From the ILP website:

“Graham Festenstein, ILP Vice President Architectural

The Office of the Major of London and the London Assembly have issued a draft document for consultation on the New London Plan –

‘The draft London Plan is a broad plan to shape the way London develops over the next 20-25 years’

Lighting is discussed within the draft but content is sparse and significantly incomplete for such an important and wide-ranging document. CLICK HERE to see the specific lighting related content extracted from the Draft London Plan, the paragraphs numbers refer to the consultation document. There is no specific section relating to lighting. Whilst the plan is specific to London we believe that the potential impact it may have as an exemplar document could be far ranging across the country and as it stands will have a long term negative impact on policy towards lighting within the urban realm throughout the UK taking us back many years.”
